The Best Setup is to use only one input on the back of you TV and have a Receiver that upconverts everything to the best input on the back of the tv.

All Sources are connected to the receiver and the receiver takes care of the rest. No switching input on the TV.

Best Input HDMI, Then DVI, Then Component (Green, Blue, Red) and then composite Yellow only(or S-video)

So if your TV has an HDMI Then I would get a Receiver that is capabible of upconverting everthing to HDMI

If you Best input on the TV is Component then at least a Receiver that upconvers everthing to Component.

Ect.....

Well the old saying always holds true... you get what you pay for....

I found this model as cheap as $199 Which I could hardly recommend a pair of speakers for that price.

Read the Review on epinions.....

There should be a law against even being able to call that a "HOME THEATER" system. A Good boom box might sound better.

I'd suggest saving your money for a while cuz investing in low quality junk you end up replacing it in 3 weeks after something stops working.

What Kind of Budget are you working with? We can maybe come up with a lot better solutions if we know your budget
