I just bought a SONY MU.TE.KI (STRK1500 + SSCRP1500) Home Theatre System and I have a week to replace it.

Take a look at its features and give me your suggestions please.

what don't you like about it?

there's nothing inherently wrong with systems like these. The only question i would ask is if the HDMI is passthrough only, or can the receiver accept audio over HDMI

It's an old model,There's a new one (1600)

....... and about the HDMI I haven't used it yet,But there's 2 input and 1 out.

OK

its not that HDMI switching only won't work - but its less useful should you choose to get a hi def player in the future.

I can't offer a sonically relevant opinion on something I haven't heard.

actually, what matters is whether you like how it sounds
