What is the difference in a cone vs a ribbon vs electrostatic vs horn vs etc? Is one type better suited for one type of music over another? Is one better than the other for movies? Have you compared the different types, if so what was your impression? Also, what are some of the better/more popular brands of these?

Thanks for the link. But in addition to that I was wondering if one speaker type is better suited for a certain of music. Would jazz be better suited for a planar, or is rock music better for a horn etc.? Which type would would be better for movies?
