As a species, we had enough imagination and intelligence to land humans on the moon (using late 1960s computer technology, no less!), but apparently we do not have enough to come up with a solution to this musical liscensing issue with older TV series on DVD.

I can see a group getting this ang going nuts. They would be so insulted they just might pay up!

This could bring down the cost of the DVD's, but this isn't likely, but they would get out with the original music intact.

Yes, because landing a man on the moon and Music are synonymous. Both are ego generators for the parties involved and provided them with employment and/or a source of income to do their job.
