I wish the Archive titles could have been released like that...


Here's hoping we get something a little more special for Christmas, like Blu-rays of "A Place in the Sun" (it's also the film's 50th anniversary this year!); "Cleopatra" and "Raintree County."

You are right. Raintree was never shown in 70mm - not ever.

Just a heads up, if you are in the SF Bay Area on Memorial Day Weekend...the Castro Theater in SF will be showing a 35mm print of "Raintree County" on Saturday, May 28th, on a double bill with "A Place in the Sun," as part of their tribute to Liz Taylor.
