Comedy Central Home Video has compilations of Primetime Glick, Strangers With Candy and Crank Yankers on tap for 2003.

Other titles in production include the Comedy Central original movie Porn 'n' Chicken, a collection of stand-up performances under the "Comedy Central Presents" banner, and the complete That's My Bush, to be released during the 2004 national elections.

Hojo: I'm takin' the pipes!
Fogey: Licking is WAY better than sniffing!
Rocky: I wanna ma......(huff 'n puff)....I wanna ma....

I'd rather have a whole set of Strangers with Candy episodes instead of "best of" editions.

But good news for a complete That's My Bush! collection.

Compilation... I hate that word. I would buy season sets of Strangers with Candy and Crank Yankers, but not "best of" collections.

I'm definitely in for That's My Bush!.

Now where's Upright Citizens Brigade?

yeah, they really need to release Strangers with Candy as a full set.

same with Dr. Katz, although i suspect there are rights issues because these NEVER show up as reruns on ANY channel anymore. What's up with that?

An employee of Tom Snyder productions once told me that Comedy Central (Viacom / Time Warner) owns Dr. Katz outright. If that is the case, CC can easily show this in reruns and release it on DVD. Rhino (Time Warner) released several VHS tapes years ago. Paramount theme parks include Dr. Katz segments on their video loops they show while you wait to ride rides.

I'd buy this over any of their other releases.

If anyone has any other info please pass it along!

Any details on the Comedy Central Presents DVDs? I hope they release DVDs with a whole bunch on there. If there are good comedians on the discs, I would definitely buy them! Glad to hear That's My Bush is coming to DVD.

Primetime Click is due in May.

I second TV Funhouse. I absolutely loved that show... one of the most twisted, hilarious things ever put on cable TV!

Thanks for the info Patrick. Although I'm glad Primetime Glick is coming out, it's too bad they're going with a best-of instead of a series or season set. They could probably fit the first two seasons on three discs if they wanted too.

I'd love Strangers With Candy, and I never watched much of the show.

I saw like 2 episodes, and loved it.

Wasn't there only like 24 episodes or something over 2 seasons? That would be so easy to release as a full series set wouldn't it?

No sale for me on the best of though...

I would love to see Comedy Central release Dr. Katz on DVD in season format. I also want to see Upright Citizens Brigade on DVD in season format.

While I am at it, Comedy Central should release every episode of Premimum Blend on DVD.

Obviously I'm not the only person to spend time in King's Island lines. :)

Put me down for an instant buy of every Dr. Katz show, barebones or otherwise.

I can pretty much guarantee you BEAT THE GEEKS won't be part of that package. (whistles innocently) "I know nothing, NOTH-ing..."

Speaking of Comedy Central, has anyone seen any reviews of the new Insomniac disc? I love Attel, don't know if I'll pick this up with the new album, though.

The only one that I would buy would be Strangers with Candy and only in a season by season box. There were only 30 shows anyway, hell they could get the whole thing out on about six or seven disc at that.

TV FUNHOUSE...never has there been a more off the wall comedy that never found a following. Loved and feel cheated there were only 8 shows....8! They could get all those on one disc!
