I'm in the market for a home theater setup. I recently listened to a NAD T752 receiver through Monitor Audio Silver Series speakers and was pretty impressed. Has anyone used this speaker before? Good or bad experiences?

This question comes up every now and then...there don't seem to be many MA owners in this forum.

I've had the older Silver series 9i's and 4's with the 12i center channel for about 2 years now, and couldn't be happier. I've teamed this system up with an SVS-Ultra and a pair of MA Bronze 1's for the rear. To me, it sounds great.

The most common criticism I've heard is that some people think MA's are too bright and can be fatiguing, but I love the detail they provide. As usual, it ends up being personal preference.

They can usually be had at a significant discount, so you may want to check around.

I'll echo John's comments... I don't own them, but have auditioned the Silver line quite a bit at more than a couple places... including the older Silver line and the current S series... I've had a couple parties follow my recommendation to get MA silvers into their systems, and they've been thrilled with 'em.

Detail... imaging... bang-for-the-buck!

But as always, the real recommendation is to audition them thoroughly yourself.

I think their whole line is excellent.

I own a Silver 5i setup.

And I recently purchased a Gold Reference 20 7.1 setup (with GR 10's for surrounds) for my under constuction dedicated HT.

Obviously, I very highly recommend Monitor Audio!

By the way, the Gold's aren't bad looking either!
