I have the bleem for MGS and it does look very nice. There are problems though. The sound emulation is not very good IMO. It sounds very tinny (if that is even a word ) and doesn't quite have the oomph the regular soundtrack does. The color emulation seems a bit off also (I play on a 27inch through s-video). Blues look very greenish and the whole game has a very soft look to it. All in all it is worth it if you dont have a PS1 and only a dreamcast but I personally prefer the MGS in the PS2 with texture mapping or even better the PC version looks absolutely amazing at 1024X768.
I looked at the pictures and thought they looked terrible, until I realized you have to click the "bleemcast" in the upper-left to see the difference. And wow, what a difference.
I don't remember MGS looking that blocky when I originally played it on PS.
Me thinks some mods may have been done to the pics for the comparison.

Troy, it looks right to me. And yes, 99.9% of PS1 games run in 320x200.
But direct VRAM captures of frames do look more blocky, because a TV softens the picture, and your mind does the rest. [Edited last by Michael St. Clair on November 09, 2001 at 11:54 AM]
Its a good game so far, dont really like the camera angles though, but still good... So far IMHO it hasn't lived up to its hype yet... Im fighting that Ocelot Revolver guy right now... Too hard, i quit...
