Mercedes Performance driving school --- What should I expect?? (1 Viewer)

I'm really wondering if anybody has been to this and what should I expect to learn in class and in the car.

Will I learn how to heel/toe shift?? that would be cool!

Will I learn about when to brake going into a corner, and when to shift and hit the gas?

I'm REALLY looking forward to this, but it's nothing I had planned on doing in the near future.

Just wear good shoes, do what the instructors say, and don't treat the driving area like a race-track. Or they will ask you to leave.

Is it a 2 day class, or is it just a couple hours?
Thats what would give you a clue.

Actually it starts at 8:30 a.m. and runs till mid afternoon.

I just found remembered that I, and the other 9 winners, cna win another prize of a 1 day course running with formula 2000 cars. Too bad I'm way to big to use it if I win.

By the way it's $1000 per person for this class. If that gives you any idea of how good it is.

Did you feel like a much better driver when you left that afternoon Garrett?

Should be fun regardless.....

$1000.00 is not bad if you use their cars.

I presume they would want a credit card to have to charge the insurance deductible to in event of a wreck.
