Malcom in the Middle: why so little on DVD? (1 Viewer)

I understand that Season 1 of the show got released in Region 1 in 2002, but aside from that, nothing else has popped up. Even a Region 2 release of the first season hasn't popped up! Why is this? Did the first season not sell well? Are there any plans for more Malcom on DVD?

Not sure about other regions, but I think I read season 1 sold pretty well.

Unfortunately FOX hit some problems with licensing music for season 2, so rather than replace the music they're slowly trying to clear all of the songs (same reason such classics as The Wonder Years and such are not online). However, that means it could be a while before season 2+ is released.

Too bad they aren't out in other regions, I'd probably just pick them up from there. It's how I got all 5 seasons of Ally McBeal.

there has to be more than music, I guess the sales weren't that great.

I mean, Miami Vice must be hell to license on DVD, but yet we've seen two seasons in one year.
