Sounds like she's continuing with the more pop approach of her previous effort, which I don't mind so much but "Exile in Guyville" still rules.

If you sign up on the "Guyville" site there is a retrospective video that gives some brief clips/images. Oh, and she looks as fine as ever. :)

Picked up the new album and have spun it a couple times. Overall the songs are more in the vein of the non-Matrix produced tracks from her previous release. A few of the songs are pretty catchy, including "Leap of Innocence" and "Somebody's Miracle." Critics seem to be slightly more positive about this one, but not by much.

I actually got it last Saturday; Target put it out early. It's good. My only complaint would be that the best tracks IMHO are all at the beginning--not really spread out.
