Keyboard won't start on reboot? (1 Viewer)

For some reason my keyboard won't start when I reboot and in device manager it says "this device cannot start (code 10)". Any ideas on how to fix this?

I may as well combine my other question which is why my radeon card won't display my desktop at anything other than 60hz. It is an 8500 and it happens with both the new catalysts and the standard drivers windowXP installs. I have to load up powerstrip to be able to run my desktop at 85hz which is a pain.

Have you powered off the computer, and replugged the keyboard?
History : In 6 years with a home computer, I've had keyboards die twice.
They are not very expensive, so I've ended up with a spare on hand. Just like mice.
Tho at least when a mouse dies, I can sometimes remember a few keyboard shortcuts
