How updated are the Kameleon 8 remote codes, could one expect it to have codes for the most recently introduced HT components, for example Sonys DVP-NC555ES DVD/CD/SACD 5 disc changer, additionally how effective is All for Ones upgrade phone service. TIA.

Manufacturers don't change codes very often, even with new equipment, so it's likely one of the existing codes would work. If not, the upgrade via phone works very well.
