I recently started my HT and I only have a receiver (Pioneer VSX-D812K) and two speakers (Klipsch SB2). My wife, I mean Santa, bought me AVIA for christmas and other than using it to calibrate my HDTV, can I use it to calibrate a stereo setup? If so , what tests and/or procedures would I use. Thanks.

You could calibrate your television. But you're 5.1 speakers short of fully appreciating your receiver...

Avia can do a little toward helping set up two speakers but if you want a really good disk to help you out, go to www.chesky.com and check out their stereo set up CD. An invaluable disk in my opinion that can also help with surround setup if you eventually add more speakers later.
