Can someone tell me why new TVs have the input/output plugs on the front of the TV??? Is it for game systems???? I'm buying both TV and HTS but I don't want wires coming out of the front of my TV. Thanks.....jen

jen-w, the front inputs are a convenient way to hook up a game system or a camcorder to play your movie, etc.

More importantly, the front inputs are not the ONLY inputs. The main panel is on the back, so you don't need to have any wires coming out of them if you don't want.

The back?? errrrr, now what !!! you mean I don't have to keep unplugging and re-plugging everything in when I switch from SAT to DVD to DVHS...time saver for sure! it's about time!!:b
