I just got my Infocus 4800 the other day. Picked it up for under 600 shipped (It was a refurb). I did a DIY 98 inch bo screen and DIY mount and that cost about another 100 dollars or so for all the supplies. First impressions... WOW... for the price paid I'm a happy camper. I previously had a standard def 64 inch rear projection tv and this projector blows it away. Its not perfect but for under a grand its hard to knock it to much.

I agree with you. I have the same projector(X1) for about 8 months and I love it. HDTV looks great on it also.
