i was pleasantly surprised today to come home from class and find out that i just got hired for a job with the state. granted it's not a super high paying job like some people here have but for me, it's about a $6000 per year raise. sucks though since now i'll probably have to drop all my college courses to take the job. i do have plans to go back to school next year though but it will have to be at a different college and working toward an associates in networking rather than a bachelors in info tech. i suppose that degree in sociology has finally paid some dividends. just thought i'd share my new-found luck with the rest of you. looks like i might be getting a hi-def set within the next year!
