Three 8 ohm rated drivers wired in parallel = 2.6 ohms

My power amp is rated at 750w @ 4 ohms 1500w @ 2 ohms

"Theoretically" should it be rated at 1275w @ 2.6 ohms?

Are my calculations correct?

I would have rounded it off to 2.667ohms for wattage calcs. ;)

E = (W*R)^0.5, or ~54.77V
R = E^2/W, or ~2.35ohms, so 1275W is a wee bit optimistic. ;)
~54.77V^2/~2.667ohms = ~1125W
