I recentely added a progressive scan DVD player to my home theater, which includes a DLP projector. With the new progressive scan DVD player, I've discovered some artifacts to the image quality -- most notably a pattern or texture that appears across the entire screen. The devices are connected to a home theater tuner via composite cables and I'm wondering if I need to use S-video cable or if there's some setting I need to adjust. Any ideas?

Quinn,
I would highly recommend trying at least a s-video cable. Preferably I would use component cables. Composite is the lowest quality interconnect for video.

Other than that I would check to make sure your projector can properly display a progressive scan image.
You may also want ask a moderator to move this post to the display/devices section. Then list your equipment and see if anyone else has had the same issues.

Good Luck!
