I need advice on speaker stands (1 Viewer)

I'm getting the HTD Level 2 speaker set. I need to find some decent stands for the front speakers. The center unit will be approximately 42" up on top of the tv, so I figure stands at about 36" would put the side tweeters even with the center.

Another factor is that I have 2 big dogs and a number of cats that will be in the space. Hopefully having the stands in corners will keep them out of animal range, but even so I am looking for extremely stable stands.

I'm considering:

I'm also looking at some stands from barstools4u.com - http://www.barstools4u.com/Speaker%2.../Speakerhp.htm

They might fit the bill, as they seem extremely sturdy.
