How much spray paint will I need.. (1 Viewer)

I have decided to paint my Shiva box with Rustoleum Hammered Black paint. I wanna go with the 11 oz spray can for ease of use. How many cans will I need if my box is about 22.5" cubed? Also will I need one or two or more coats?

2 coats (assuming primer) should be enough. One large can should barely be enough (not sure about 11oz cans). Be sure to put down a coat of primer first or the paint will soak into the MDF/wood.

I used two cans on a 18" cube- that resulted in one thick coat. I suggest applying only on horizontal surfaces and going with one thick coat.

hey is that a NeXT logo on your sub Kyle?

i used about 6-7 cans of primer on my sub, but i put on at least 2-3 coats all sides but the bottom.
