how do I drag an item using IE 5? (1 Viewer)

For instance, when on MSN messenger how do post a link on the message? With Netscape I had no trouble by using the little hand and dragging. But on IE5 now I'm clueless! If I'm on a website and want the person I am chattin with to join me there, how do I post the URL without having to type it? I'm using windows 98.Thanks all

If the URL is in the address bar, highlight it and hit Ctrl-C (Copy). Then go to your email or chat and Ctrl-V to paste.

If you're looking for the URL to a link or image on the page, right click it and select Copy Shortcut (for a link) or Properties for an image, then copy the URL from there. Then paste it into your email/chat as mentioned above.
