For all those replies swearing that their vegan/veggies friends don't preach at them - fine. However, I was thinking of the assorted action groups, etc, who get stuff into the media. Also, whilst I have some vegan/veggie friends and colleagues who don't preach at you, I have others that do. Ever tried eating a meat containing meal with someone wittering about the sins of intensive farming at you? [The irony is that I try to eat only organic/'ethically reared' meat]. And with respect, substituting names of other groups into my original argument isn't a particularly sound debating point.
