Home Theater for around $200 (1 Viewer)

My uncle is just starting to get into the Home Theater thing and before he goes all out and gets a big screen in his basement and all he wants to get something small for his family room. He was looking at about the $200 range with a reciever. I know there is nothing excellent at this level and I was at least trying to get him to go with a component system for a little more but in the family room he just doesn't want it. It is a fairly large room, about 20x20 with 12' ceilings. So it needs to be a decently strong system as well.

I know it is hard to find something in this price range but if anyone could recommend a system for around $200 or a little more than is good please suggest it.

He has looked at Onkyo, Denon, and Yamaha so far with the Yamaha being around $200 but lacking in the bass.

Are you looking for a complete package for $200? If you are, that's damn near impossible. Especially for a room as large as the one you want.
