Heathers(1988) coming to Bravo as a TV Show (1 Viewer)

I'm a huge Heathers fan, so this is kind of a big deal for me.
But like anything that goes from movie to TV series, I'm a little worried.
The article also mentions that Bravo is also doing a TV show from the movie The Apartment (1960)

I'm guessing this will be more of a comedy or even a drama involving a girl that has to deal with frenemies (see, I know the hip way that the kids today talk). The aspects of the movie where Veronica and J.D. try to murder their classmates and he attempts to blow up the school is never going to make it on the air after Columbine.

The other thing that might not be in the TV version is the hip dialogue that makes the movie so fun to quote.
I'm very curious to see what females they cast as the Heathers and as Veronica.
Could be a yummy cast
