I have had my HDTV Mits 65907 for 10 mths now. I kept hearing about owners tweaking their Mits (on hometheaterspot and here). I believe these tweaks are to correct convergence drifts. However, the picture on my set in HDTV mode is so good (evn today) I didn't see a need to tweak. Am I missing something here? In fact, I have an option to get free professional calibration (included with purchase) but is hesitant to do so as I still believe in "If it's ain't broke, don't fix it".
Also, I heard about the red push issue with Mits. For whatever reason, we like the redness. OK, it may not be "correct reproduction" but it's really a user's preference in my opinion.
Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

If you don't think it's broke...don't fix it! Consider yourself lucky that you don't feel the need for calibration. Many problems you are better off not knowing about. Once you do, they will bother you to no end. If you are happy with your current picture...STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE SPOT!!!
Enjoy your set (I have the little brother, 65807)

Marc,
Thanks a lot. It's good to hear from someone who shares my opinion. You too, enjoy your set.

Henry,
Another 65907 owner here (and damn proud of it) and my thought is, get the calibration. If it is free, there is absolutely no reason not to. A professional calibration is only going to make the picture better.
