HD cable looks blue (1 Viewer)

Using the Time Warner HD box, the side bars are blue, and everything has a blue-ish tint. Is this normal? I am pretty sure I have all the connections right.

What channel are you viewing? The ABC affiliate uses blueish sidebars on non-HD material. Non-HD CBS and HBO look fine to me and have all black sidebars.

Any channel I change it to has the same blue appearance. Let me ask you, do you have the coaxial cable going from the wall to the cable box only? Or do you also have the cable going from the box out to the TV?

My grayscale was off...big time. That explains the blue.

Time to do some greyscale eyeballing tweaks. Setting color temp to warm would probably help, if you haven't done that already.

Must be pretty bad for black bars to look blue(!).
