    Anyone else playing this?

Holy freaking crap, this game is AMAZING for PSP. GTA on a handheld. Unbelievable.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

I plan to pick this up (along with Burnout Legends) at the next Meijer Super Saturday sale (which may/may not be this weekend). I'm hoping it's next weekend, as I'm a bit tapped out from this week's TRU B2G1F sale.

I considered picking it up when I saw it at Best Buy earlier today but held back. It's hard for me to justify spending $50.00 on a handheld game when I could put the money towards another 360 game. How are the graphics? Do they come close to GTAIII on the PS2?

I picked it up yesterday and have been amazed.

This was the title I bought the PSP on launch for.

Since I bought a PSP at launch, I have bought 2 games the first week and nothing else.

Sony could write a book on how not to market/launch a handheld.

Anyway, GTA:LC seems to be worth the wait.
I had to actually charge the battery since it was off for so long.

Yeah, it's a shame to have to lose the old firmware version to play these games tho, between it and Burnout I have kissed MAME away forever.... =(

    posten,

Yep! I had to ditch hacks and everything to play the best game for the PSP.

I'm already about 6% in the game.
It's just like playing and looking at GTA3 or 4.
    Very impressed.

    SO, SO many side missions.
Haven't tried the numerous multiplayer games, but will when I get back from my two days off and my co-worker gets his copy.

And I love the NEW DJ/music for the radio stations.

My favorite is the Bollywood type of music that is played.

If anyone is still holding back, DON'T!
    Get this now.
or a reason to get a PSP!

What firmware version does this game require? Having 2.0 would allow me to keep my homebrew apps and emulators (as I can always downgrade to 1.5).

Just started playing this one and I'm having a great time with it. There's nothing like tearing down the road like a crazed maniac causing all sorts of mayhem. (Haven't started the missions yet....having too much fun causing chaos at the moment.[IMG] )

The only thing I don't like is the radio music.....it's not my cup of tea. I much preferred the tracks from Vice City. The commercials and DJ's are a hoot though.
