Good time to buy and XBOX? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering if its a good time to buy and XBOX right now? Are they releasing a new model of XBOX or improving it anytime soon?
Futureshop has a deal on $279 Canadian, for the Adrenealine pack (Halo and Amped), and they will throw in NHL 2003 for free also. I'm almost ready to jump on this deal, but thought I would get the inside scoop before I bought it.

I recently purchased an XBOX (refurb w/ JSRF & Sega GT) for $200 CDN. Since then I've picked up Halo (of course!) and Splinter Cell. I have it hooked up to my 47" Panny HDTV and surround sound system. I'm having a great time.

If the refurbished unit had not been available, I likely would have gone with the Adrenaline Pack for $280. I believe Microsoft has claimed there will be no price reductions before the new year so I'd say go for it.
