The other day, we heard a 'pop' sound on the set and ghosting appeared. The image is fine but when there's a white background, there is some serious ghosting going to the right. What could cause this?

Is it ghosting or bad convergence? If the convergence got reset some how you will see red, green, blue ghosts around edges. In this case just go in the service menu and reconverge it.
If that's not your problem, what inputs is it doing this for?

It's definitely ghosting. It only occurs when there's a dark and white. There's a 'shadow' going to the right about an inch long. I calibrated the set previously using AVIA and Video Essentials so the Sharpness should not have been too high.
Also, it occurs on all the inputs. Regular Cable TV on Video 1, VCR on Video 2, Dreamcast on Video3, Toshiba 5109 Progressive on HD 1 and Dreamcast on HD 2 (Via AA VGA->component transcoder). And it occurs with all the inputs.
However, as I mentioned before, it only occurs when there's a dark on white. Overall, the image looks fine when there are no dark/white in there.
