FX Original "44 Minutes" coming 12/16 (1 Viewer)

Just read this on The Futon Critic:

44 MINUTES: THE NORTH HOLLYWOOD SHOOTOUT (FX) - 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release the recent telefilm on DVD come December 16. The disc, which retails for $29.95, comes in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1, with two featurettes, "Behind the Scenes" and "The Shield FX."

I really enjoyed this movie. Dale Dye, Ron Livingston, and Mario van Peebles all put in good performances for a made-for-TV movie. I'm glad to see Fox HE is still putting effort into DVDs for both their network and cable stations.

Good news but I was hoping for a documentary on the real event, perhaps with the whole live TV coverage.
