This is too funny and kinda movie-related, so I thought I'd share. It took me a while to understand.
Hmmm...either I don't get it,
I get it and it's not very funny.
I didn't get it at first either. You have to look really closely at that last film frame.
Look at the next to last frame.
Note the little white dots at the bottom
They are eyes
Jon, it's the latter.
I saw the hands making shadow gestures,
and I saw the eyes, indicating the viewers were turning back to see who was messing up Casablanca.
Is there more to it than that?
The cartoonist framed Casablanca in the wrong aspect ratio.
At first I saw the heads & eyes at the bottom of the screen and thought they were doing a Mystery Science Theater 3000 job on Casablanca. Sacrilege!
But then I saw the shadow... :b
What a tough audience!
But if the projectionist put his hands up in front of the lens that close to a powerful focused industrial strength lamp, wouldn't he get burns? So shouldn't he have bandages on his hands in the last frame? Huh, huh, huh?
I would have put rabbit ears over whoever that ugly lady is.....
