Front projectiion geometry (1 Viewer)

Is there a site that will elaborate on the geometry of projector throw? Is there maximum and minimum? Are all projectors the same? Is there an optimum? If I buy a screen first, am I limited with future projector options? Where do I go from here?

No, all projectors do not have the same throw size/distance. Start with www.projectorcentrral.com as recommended reading.
