I never even made it to work yesterday. I tried twice but they kept shutting the interstate down...

I have seen some bad roads in my life but yesterday was the worst.

Whenever it rains then freezes and turns to snow it's a bad deal. I heard I25 was closed from about castle rock up to the DTC but I don't work until tonight

I25 was closed from Castle Rock to Monument, what a mess. I tried to get to work in Colorado Springs twice yesterday.

I have never seen roads that bad, and I have lived in Colorado since I was 9.

Clear today with small ice patches from time to time.

First snow here right now. It's kinda cool. But as usual it'll get old by tuesday...

I hate to be so infantile I know the realities of effects of weather to traffic/business/life.

....but I'm so jealous...DFW...if we get one snow a season which even partially blankets the ground, we are entranced! ..(and incapacitated! )
