Far and Away DVD...Questions? (1 Viewer)

Do any of you have this DVD? I seem to remember a couple of scenes that aren't on this DVD, most notably a scene after "The Ladies" leave the Christy's home where Shannon's mother slaps her for her behavior during the visit.

I'm also thinking there was another scene with Rance Howard after the horse dies dealing with Tom Cruise's character trying to the "Green Broke" horse since his died of old age.

Now, I guess I could be losing my mind, but I remember something about these scenes and I'm trying to figure out if there was a "Director's Cut" out there on VHS somewhere.

...perhaps you are remembering the extended version broadcast on NBC(?) a few years back...I believe it was another 45 mins longer...
