Loved the Star Wars/Curb Your Enthusiasm spoof, i'll never watch that scene in the film quite the same way again lol, also loved the part with Joe with cheap digital legs in Steel Vagina!
It's a shame that for the entire season of Family Guy, there are only 2 pages worth of posts here. I'm surprised there's not a great deal of interest being shown by the membership for this show.
Personally, I love this season so far. Family Guy continually makes me laugh out loud. This week's show was no exception. I thought the guy smacking the crap out of someone with his picture wallet was quite funny. The "digitized" legs for Joe was also a hoot.
As a fan of the show when it first aired, these newer show (while still funny) just don't bring out the "I can't wait to post about this!" feeling anymore!
I laugh when I'm watching it, but it seems like once the epsiode is over with, I'm like 'meh'.The 2nd time they showed it where the guys nose was bleeding!!!
Yeah, I liked that. But it made me think that an even better gag, which would have made a great obscure reference, would have been if they have used the old Intellivision "Running Man" graphics as Joe's "legs"
My TIVO only recorded the first show (not the bonus one) but I was very fortunate to witness one of the funniest moments ever in the history of Family Guy.....
The inclusion of Garrett Morris from the Institute of the Hard Of Hearing.
I have yet to see anything so clever or funny on Family Guy to date.
I have not checked out your link, but I do know that the DVD extras have included footage of table reads and shots of the voice actors in the studio, so I would say it's probably that what you have posted was from a DVD extra.
"Brian, I never noticed how long and flat your tounge is"
I can't help but think they missed an opportunity here though. They should have had a bit where Meg had a jar of peanut butter and tried to get Brian to ... you know.
I love Family Guy, but got into watching Desperate Housewives with Lucy. Since I know I'll buy the Family Guy DVDs eventually anyway, I just watch DH instead and pop in an FG disc when I feel like it.
this is the first ep my pops sat down with me to watch. at first he said it was vile/vulgar/etc. he made this comment after seeing the basic instinct bit with sharon stone eating the guy's head...
but when stewie came on and danced with gene kelly, he was like... heeey waitta' second, this is quite respectable art!
i luv how cross-generational this is =D. i think if you go into it with an open mind you'll be entertained.
