will this be a 22 episode season for entourage? although it's only 1/2 hour compared to the other hour long series, i think this is largest qty of episodes that HBO has ordered per show.
It's been planned for a while that it would be a 20 ep season. 12 now, then 8 more to run with the 8 final episodes of the sopranos. Unless it's been changed.
Too funny. Seth and Wahlberg became pretty good friends on the Italian Job, so it's funny to see Seth come in and play the jerk-off guy with the entourage.
Yeah.... one thing I forgot to add to my original post was last year I was staying at The Palms in Vegas, and Seth Green was staying there at the same time. I kept seeing him in the Casino, around the pool in one of those villas, and at Ghost Bar.
He did have a bit of an "entourage" with him, but they looked nothing like the hipsters on the show this week.
The other thing about him is that he is REALLY short.
Also -- does "I blasted her in the face like a Jackson Pollack" not join the Pantheon of all-time great trash talking?
Once again, Drama gets the best lines: When Turtle wants to know where Saigon is, "Maybe he got clipped in a drive by". Then when they walked into the suite, "Whats up with you bad cats?" And finally when he was hung off the balcony "You watched Viking Quest?"
haha you forgot "You should've held out, I think I could've made the pool!"
Also, "60 .. well maybe it was closer to 40..." (for turtle).
I'm kinda sad to see that they're kinda writing Saigon off the show .. to be honest I was almost proud of Turtle doing something and was looking forward to seeing how they were going to use him in conjunction with the rest of the show (like, would he get a role in Vince's next movie perhaps?). I guess all of that is out the window now ..
Still a great episode
Only 2 left until January *tear* .. Sunday nights just won't be the same...
I thought this was interesting. I found it on Digg earlier today. You'll remember the colorized version of Queens Blvd two weeks ago from the episode "The Release." I never really thought that somebody must have actually colorized the footage, but now we know that Legend Films, who colorized Plan 9 and of Night of the Living Dead among other titles, were responsible for the "Willie Wonka Queens" footage of Vince's flick.
They posted the whole colorized cut of Queens Blvd on their website and its pretty interesting to check out, especially be cause it snaps from B&W into color. They only showed about 8 seconds of the colorization on Entourage, so check it out for the whole scene. It's a small, flash video.
I normally can't stand Martin Landau but it was cool to see him as the producer who just really needed someone to listen to him. I felt sorry for the old guy. He had some funny stories, I hope we see more of him.
I love Beverly D'Angelo, the character of Barbara is great, she's the female Ari it seems.
I think Vince actually kind of liked that girl, it seems he finally wants to settle down a bit. He's still spending a lot of money considering he has no job. I know there's residual's and such but it seems there's a lot more going out then coming in.
I have a feeling Turtle's not done yet with his music managment career, and wasn't Drama supposed to be off in NY shooting his Pilot with Ed Burns?
"You watched Viking Quest?" was classic, Kevin Dillion has easily the funniest character on that show, I think he is far better then his brother actually. I liked the hanging "out the window" thing, it's a classic rap management tale.
His character was more than "loosely" based on Robert Evans, am I right? All his talk about Jack Nicholson and Steve McQueen, plus the fountain outside his house looked exactly like the one at Evans' famous Hollywood pad...
