Here is the DVD sales charts for the week of May 18th, according to http://www.videobusiness.com. They even have DVD rentals, VHS sales, and VHS rentals in their market data section. But I'm too lazy to post all that though.

Anyway, Matrix did really well, even the Matrix-esque Equilibrium did well. cartoon-related DVDs are in caps.

Calling X-Men 1.5 cartoon-related is a pretty big stretch. It's based on characters that also appeared in a cartoon, but so's The Matrix.

That cartoon has a factual error: according to it more than 4 people saw "Equilibrium" in the theater.

It's gratifying that the widescreen versions are now clearly out selling the "full frame" editions...sign of the times.
