Different Cover artwork (1 Viewer)

I've been checking out some DVD titles at Amazon and when I see the cover for Magnolia, It's different than the one I see at the store. This one has some clouds on the bottom and characters intertwined in the flower whereas the cover at the store has the flower and the title and that's it. I've also noticed this with As Good As It Gets. The DVD I own lists the AA awards it won but the one on Amazon shows the nominations as well. Why are these different?

Because the cover art changed before they released the disc. Sometimes they also use the internal artwork of a foldout or a keepcase if they are in a slipcase
