    Hello there guys

I wonder if there is a rule for adjusting the delay time of surround and center channel speakers??

Please help I really don't have any idea of how to do this the right way.

    Thank you.

Most receivers have a distance setting, so you want to measure the distance to each speaker from the listening position, and enter that into the menu, and it translates that into msec delays w/reference to the front speakers if the speakers are not the same distance away as your mains.

If you have a receiver that has the option setting in msecs, I forget what the msec/foot translation would be, I'm sure someone will know, or a search will turn it up, or it is in your manual.

Seems to me it's about 1.1 millisecond per foot, YMMV
