Teenage wasteland....it's only teenage wasteland-"

Although I love the song, what the heck does it have to do with CSI?!
Who Are You - works perfectly.
Won't Get Fooled Again - still works...

Interesting...I thought it would be "Behind Blue Eyes," but I guess the theme couldn't beat out the pure dynamic power of "Baba." I bet people will still call it "Teenage Wasteland." :)

I read somewhere that Gary Sinise will star in this one, is that true? If so, I'm a Sinise fan so i'm looking forward to it. When is the premier?

Sinise is in it. I think he did a season finale of Miami to introduce his character(I haven't seen it).

I guess it'll premiere in the Fall like the other CSI's

Grissom quotes from "Baba" in an episode of CSI that was recently rerun. This is the exchange between Grissom and Warrick as they push through the crowd at a rave:

Grissom: (shaking head at the stoned dancers)

Teenage wasteland...

Warrick:

Who?

Grissom:

Exactly.

:)

Regards,

Joe

(Reminds me of a bit a friend and I wrote in high school, a take-off on "Who's on First". Instead of baseball, our version was about the world's greatest rock concert. As the promoter explains: "Who's on first, Guess Who's on second, and Yes is on third." You can pretty much write it from there by yourself. :))

My guess is that'll avoid the chorus and use
Out here in the fields | I fight for my meals | I get my back into my living | I don't need to fight | To prove I'm right | I don't need to be forgiven

Which sort of works as a mockery of the criminal world.

"don't cry....don't raise your eye...it's only...teenage...wasteland...."

But hey, like Michael said, let's go the Jon Entwistle route: "My life's in jepoardy...murdered in cold blood is what I'm gonna be....." ("My Wife")

Thos.

Aha! I'm glad to know the creative forces behind the show were with me. Perhaps Zuiker quivered before the might of the almighty paycheck after seeing what happened to Eads and Fox.

Heaven forbid someone compose an original theme anymore. Then again, the show's not original either (though I'll probably watch anyway).
