Im sure many of you have sold your personal vehicles.

What id like to know is do i need a contract when selling my vehicle.

Sure ive sold cars before when i was younger, but they were basically cheap classics which i sold for no more than $2000.

Now im selling my truck ($20,000+) and would like some help in figureing out if i should draw up some kind of "As Is" contract?

What should be included in it?

Thanks!!

i've generally just made a bill of sale stating sold "as is, where is" with date and time, giving a signed copy to the buyer and having them sign a copy for you to keep.

Evelio,

:) Yeah that one.

I need to get something with good fuel economy since i will be driving up to San Marcos for college soon.

Im thinking of either a Toyota 4x4 or a Honda Accord.

Ill be getting a Chevy 4dr truck after we move though :)
