Computer stuttering - power supply? (1 Viewer)

My computer is stuttering. It would power up then shut off then power up then shut off again. Technician says it's not the power supply since he replaced it and it did the same thing. He says it's the motherboard.
Anybody have a clue?

Could be a bad fan...the fan may be jammed and causing a current overload, tripping your powersupply.

Just an update. It was the power supply. Put in a 400W and it never stuttered again.
