Component DVD to Toshiba Colorstream (1 Viewer)

Hi,

If I have a Sony DVD player with component out - Can I plug into a Toshiba Colorstream input. Is Toshiba's COLORSTREAM - just another name for component IN.

You got it That's their own name for component connections.

If this is one of Toshiba's newer HDTVs, you might want to switch your DVD player back and forth between Progressive and Interlaced to see which one looks best.

The new Toshibas scale both 480i and 480P to 540P. Letting the TV do the de-interlacing and scaling often looks better than feeding it a progressive signal.
