I have been waiting for Grand Prix!! It came out fairly early on LD so why so long on DVD?? And boy would I love to see a great version of The Man Who Would Be King. Truly one of the greatist adventure movies. And how about a better Oklahoma and Sound Of Music?

Every time I ask this question it seems that I get a 'patronizing' answer from some that in due time we will see it but not in a definitive '05 or '06 timeframe that might give me a sense of some anticipation. I remember someone around here predicting that it will be the 'last of the AFI list top 100' to be released when it does come out...my guess is possibly by end of year but don't be suprised if not.

Is there some stickied topic with a list of all of these member entries? If not, there should be one with a constant update as to their status. The "when is this coming out on DVD" is still probably one of the most asked questions, even long after DVD has since hit mainstream.

I think there was mention of a MALTESE FALCON SE in the WB chat.

I concur with nearly all of the other suggestions. I know there are rights issues with some of the early Miramax stuff through their video deal with Paramount, which is why we haven't seen DELICATESSEN, K2, THE DOUBLE LIFE OF VERONIQUE, etc.
