I can't remember the exact conversation but somewhere there is a reference to the Venus de Milo. In the movie someone say that it's headless or something. I know that the Venus de Milo has a head but no arms.

Didn't the movie infer that the statue is headless? If so, why? Can anyone clarify this please?

There's a reference to a statute of a woman with no head, but I don't believe it's specifically identified as the Venus de Milo.

If you'll fogive me: The verb you mean is "imply". "Imply" is what the speaker does; "infer" is what the listener does when the speaker is implying something.
