How many Chiquita banana stickers out there, not the usual brand name sticker but the ones that say a slogan. So far, I've collected the following slogans:

Brain Fuel
Vitamin Rich
I've got vitamin C
Good Nutrition Pure and Simple!
Potassium Power!
Place sticker on forehead. Smile.

Is that an actual "Chiquita" brand sticker? The ones I have are generally oval with a blue background and white lettering with a yellow border.. Have never seen the "AHL" one before..

Well yeah, I agree, lets have a few less of them on posts about speakers, subs, receivers, amps, tv, dvd, cd, funny youtube videos, not-so-funny youtube videos, etc.,etc. but this post was about......BANANAS :rolleyes

Okay, I confess I have no idea what brand this was from, but back in college the local grocery had banana stickers with "take me home, I'm delicious".

We snagged rolls of them. They were great conversation starters at parties. (I still smile thinking of all the good evenings that started with those stickers.)

Heh heh. In your very first post, you mentioned the AHL, meaning "After Hours Lounge." Tony either thought you meant the American Hockey League, or was kidding. I can't tell unless somebody spells out their emotions with a dancing banana.

I have the side of my desk all besplattered with banana stickers, it started on my phone (which I call the Banana Phone) and then spread to my desk. Then all of a sudden, instead of having a Dell monitor, I now have a Dole 17" monitor... how strange!

No, the American Hockey League encourages it's player to eat bananas so their legs don't cramp up on the ice.

Bananas have potassium which is rumored to help prevent or help release the lactic acid buildup in your muscles which cause the cramping and the "burn"...

But they are also easy to eat and oh so much humor can be made out of the banana peels or the dancing variety.
