I'm looking for any information on a mini series about captain Cook. I watched it in the late 90's on either the history channel or a&e, I believe there were 4 two hour parts. I don't even know the name of it and have not been able to find any info on the net. I'm pretty sure it was shot in Australia. I'm hoping it's on dvd.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If it is the same one I am thinking of, it was shown on
TNT or TBS in 2 two hour showings on consecutive evenings.
I believe it starred Keith Michel (of six wives of Henry VIII fame). Quite interesting but it has never shown up again. I believe it was called Capt James Cook and I believe it was filmed in Australia. Hope this helps. I would love to see this again.

Thanks Greg. I looked for Keith Michel on IMDB and found some info on the movie. It was made in 1987, older than I thought. Now I can use this info to do some further searching, I'd love to have it on dvd.
    Thanks again
    Don
