Canadian or US version of Trainspotting? (1 Viewer)

I have the US version on DVD, but heard the Canadian version is better. Which is over all better?

I have the Canadian version, which includes the documentary featuring several deleted scenes. However, I read somewhere (I think in this forum) that the US version has the unrated cut of the movie that was released on the Criterion laserdisc, even though the DVD is labeled as rated R. Both DVDs have non-anamorphic transfers, so unless your dying to see the deleted scenes and interviews (I think the doc runs about 30 minutes), stick with the version you've got and hope we get a proper SE of this in the future. Mirimax is finally giving us Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown, so maybe this won't be far behind.
