Confederate or union soldiers escape from a prison camp via balloon. They wind up on a prehistoric island with dinosaurs. Do you remember the name of this movie and if it has been released on dvd?

Oh yes, that's Ray Harryhausen's classic Mysterious Island (1961), loosely based on the Jules Verne novel. It was released on DVD last year by Columbia/TriStar and should be readily available.

Yep, one of my favorites and currently inbound to be added with the other Harryhausen classics. There is some exceptional stuff going on in there and I love the concept of Captain Nemo being in the mix.
